●Easier to Learn

●74HC595 and LEDs

Use 74HC595 and 8 LEDs to make a LED light water project. The feature of 74HC595 is that it can convert 3 inputs into 8 outputs. But the chip makes driving the LEDs slightly slower, about 500,000 times per second instead of 8,000,000 times per second, but it’s still so fast that you won’t notice any changes at all.

●4-Digital Segment Display

Because the control of the digital tube requires at least 8 I/O ports, the 74HC595 is used to expand the I/O port. The 4-bit digital tube can display different content or the same content. These need to be controlled by the driver. This sample project drive the 4-bit digital tube to display the same content, the display content is from 1 to 9, from A to F. After you master the use method of the digital tube, you can apply the digital tube to other projects, it will be a good display tool for you.
